1.Is there a way to adjust the vertical position of cue lyrics? I’d like to move the marked section downward Only the x-value is adjusted.

2.I want the crescendo to start within the same measure as the lower note, but it keeps appearing earlier due to the tie. How should I input it correctly?

  1. I don’t think so. You could move the vertical position of the lyrics globally in Engrave Mode
  2. Select the hairpin and press ALT/OPTION→

In the Part Layout, you can move it independently with Alt+Arrow in Engrave Mode.

In the score, while experimenting, I just discovered that if you temporarily hide the source staff of the cue (the soprano), you can move the cue’s lyrics vertically without affecting the lyrics on the soprano staff.
