I found this now by navigating between parts. Does this with mouse click, doesn’t from dropdown menu command. I hope video helps. (Closing VSTLive, reopen, still)
Can’t reproduce this. If I get it right, your final action is to click Part 1 in Song 3? Works here, but I don’t know what’s in Song 1 and 2 (may have to do with triggers, in my test both have just one Part).
All selections with mouse except noted:
- new project
- add Song 2 and 3, Song 3 selected
- add Part 2, 3, 4, and 5
- set Part 2 to 2.1.1
- set Part 3 to 3.1
- select Song 2
- select Song 3
- select Part 2
- from menu select “Part/Previous Part”
- select Part 2
- select Part 1
No such problem. Note: never selected the Part play item, only Part name.

they are literally empty.
Trying it today for replying, I can’t reproduce it. That time I could repeat this after closing/opening app. It only stepped back to previous “Part” from Menu dropdown, on mouse-click it just “unselected” everything instead of stepping back to Part1.
If that appears again, I will do my best to narrow it.
