I had assumed that the fractional pedal indications (1/4, 1/2, etc.) would work the same as the notch. That is, you have a pedal line under a passage and, after clicking on the note where you want the pedal to change, you then click on the notch symbol. When trying this with the fractional pedal symbols, they are not entered into the score.
