1/4-note tuplet in 5/8

Greetings -

I’m engraving Ravel’s string quartet. The 4th movement is in 5/8 and there are some instances of 1/4-note duplet measures. I can fake it by using an 8th-note as the base value and make a quadruplet with a 4:5 ratio. That results in two 1/4 note values for the 5/8 measure. So far, so good, but I need it to appear as a 1/4-note duplet rather than an 1/8th-note quadruplet. One solution is to create a text 2 and place it above the bracket but I’d rather have the number centered in the bracket line. My solution is to hide the tuplet marks and create a custom line. That’s fine but it would be much less fiddly to be able to just change the tuplet number - assuming the number change could be read by Dorico as no actual change in the tuplet math.

Just tossing that out for consideration.

Cheers!

Could you just use nested tuplets?

e.g. a 4:5 quaver tuplet containing a 2:2 crotchet tuplet, and then hide the 4:5 number and bracket?

EDIT: I just tested it:
