I thought there was a way to do this, pressing control, shift or alt while choosing the route for these midi drum tracks but in Cubase 15 none of them seems to do it.
Also tried to go to the same midi channel but didn’t work. Tedious to 13 channels individually when there should be a simple shortcut.
Also I saw a Dom Sigalis video of using the C15 folder group channels, which seemed relevant maybe. and now with multiple searches I can’t find again. Someone have the link?
See if this one helps you out
This is interesting and informative and something I might want to look into in other projects, but I’m currently not using Groove Agent, just midi drums triggered by my playing on the Roland TD50x VAD kit, and in this case want to do the opposite, just route all to the same output (and channel), without having to go to each one singly and change. I could have done it by now, but there are other projects where I need to change a whole set to the same bus (like drum group) and if there is a way to do so by selecting altogether and directing to the channel or bus in one step, that would save time repeatedly.
For example, here midi drums have been split and recorded onto multiple tracks and are going to the master and I would like to change each and all to a drum group instead. I can already make other EQ, sends, etc for each track, but is there a secret to select all and change the output bus in one step?
Have you tried doing it from the MixConsole with Q-Link?
I see what you’re trying to do now… select all those tracks, right click and choose move selected tracks to folder with new group channel… They’ll all be routed to the same place then. You can change multiple outputs in the mixer like @ggmanestraki suggested too but you have to hold down shift+option to activate q-link while you do it.
