Hi there, I am going to grab 10.5 in the coming days. There are 2 downloads, the 22gb full version and the 10.5 installer that is 1.4gb.This can be installed over version 10 according to the site. Does that mean it replaces the currently installed version of 10, or can 10 and 10.5 both be installed at the same time? I don’t fancy the 22gb download but don’t want to lose version 10 and fully move over to 10.5 just yet. At least until there’s been a few maintenance updates.
The update package will leave your 10 installation intact. Then you can run either 10 or 10.5 on the same machine.
