10.5: Macro Key Command Bug??

  1. I assigned “Ctrl+Alt+D” for the macro “Duplicate Selected Tracks without Data”
  2. I checked if said key command was assigned to anything else and it was not.
  3. I used the Key Command on an Instrument Track.
  4. The track was duplicated as expected but also the “Audio Alignment Panel” opened up.
  5. I checked Key Commands to make sure that I had not assigned an existing command to the macro.
  6. I re-checked with a new key command “Alt + Shift + D”
  7. Once again, the track was duplicated as expected but also the “Audio Alignment Panel” opened up. Same buggy behavior - different key commands.

I don’t have a screen recorder, but screenshots are attached.

Hi,

Could you attach your Key Commands.XML file, please?

I’m not able to figure out how to find this file. Could you please guide me?

Hi,

Apologies for my delay.

At the end of your Macro, I can see the command: Audio Alignment - Open Audio Alignment Panel. This is the reason. Just delete this.

So the Macro works as expected.

Ah! Thank you so much. I have no idea how I added that command. Must have clicked on something accidentally. Thanks a lot.
