10 Elements ? or 6.5 Artist ?

I have Cubase 6.5 Artist.

Now there is a 50% sale and I can afford to buy Cubase 10 Elements.

I would be getting a higher version, but also I will be downgrading from Artist to Elements.

Should I stay with Artist 6.5 ?
or is it better to get Elements 10 ?

  • I cant afford Artist 10 (even at half price).

What do you think I should do ?
I really appreciate anybody’s advice to help me decide.

My opinion…
Purchase the new version at the nice deal currently being offered. You will have the latest software that should work without issue on upgraded computer OS’s. Just remember that the new CB only works with 64bit VSTs (although there are workarounds available). Also, you should still have access to your old version.
