If Event Opacity value is less, than in the screenshot
Show Overlaps - automaticly turned off
I confirm this in Cubase 12.0.40.
Bug or intended limitation ?
i’ve fix this issue in UserPreferences.XML
string is
<int name="Event Opacity" value="227"/>
i can’t remember, but Cubase doesn’t react if value is less then 200(?) (i’m not sure)
P.S. Just watched your gif, in c11 you can’t fix this inside Pref
Are you saying that this tweak makes the overlaps appear for the entire opacity range?
But as soon as you change the slider it resets, no ?
No, what I mean, in cubase 11, when we set low Event Opacity value, we can no longer turn it back on with Prefs. Only by changing the value inside the file, manually.
In c12 it seems to respond within Prefs.
But I agree, it still doesn’t work the way it should
