14.0.5 Pro Import *.aiff

Made some warped AIFF files on a MacBook in Ableton. Went to my cousins house and imported them into a C13 Pro project with zero problems. I tried to import the exact same files into a C14 Pro project this morning (from the same usb stick) and I get a glitchy mess - like zero music content, just noise. Is there some known issue with AIFF files in 14.0.5? If I play them in a media player on my PC, they work without issue. In the C14 Import Audio dialog box *.aif is listed twice, but *.aiff is not listed

Hi, I 've seen some complaints about it a couple of months ago. I guess there’s something wrong with aiff/c14 combo

Same issue here on windows 11. The media bay will play the aif files. But become distorted once dragged into cubase. Works fine in Cubase 13.

Thanks, I just reprinted them in WAV.
It was just odd that it worked in C13 and not C14.

Presumably changes made to the audio engine to “improve” it.
Same as C12 can play videos on my i9 12900/AMD17900 system, but C13-14 cannot - because of the “improved” video engine.
