I just had a crash when trying to add a track in an almost empty project.

What kind of track did you add, please?

Can you replicate it?

I tried to add a mono audio track. So far I haven’t been able to replicate it.

A rule I have in life is “if something happens once, then I shouldn’t care much”. Maybe your device just experienced an error, a max memory usage issue, or whatever. However, if this happens every time or 2-3 times a week, then yes, there is something wrong, and you should locate the problem and solve it.
