Is this a bug, or have I misunderstood the concept of the groupfolder group in 15.0.20?
Should activating mute on the folder mute all items in that folder?

All of mine do unless I add a midi track like yours… It won’t play any audio with the instrument muted that the midi track is routed to so maybe that was intended behavior.
Edit: There is something wonky going on bc I clicked around on the individual mute buttons and then back to the folder, they all muted one time and now only one of them is. If the extra midi track isn’t there, it works fine.
The behavior of the mute switch with the new folders depends on the setting for whether or not source channels in group tracks are also muted. You can find this under VST in the settings.
Unfortunately this setting only affects the audio track, not midi or instrument track, but thanks for your suggestion.
Just tested it, instrument tracks work. Only not when a MIDI track is routed to an instrument track via output.
It seems like it’s just a visual thing though because it does mute all output for me.
Ok, so the plot thickens. Solo works fine, select solo at folder level & every track regardless of type is soloed. Exactly the behaviour I’d expect.

I’ll leave it a couple of days in case someone comes up with a solution, if not I’ll report as an issue.
