16th/8th syncopation beaming

I’m trying to get the figure in Bar 32 to tie over the beat boundaries, as opposed to consecutive dotted 8ths. I tried settings in notation options, and I tried Shift-M-[1+1+1+1]/4

nothing has worked. Can someone help me?
