I’m a fanboy of noteperformer and have it set as my default playback.
I compose with a lot of ppp and pppp’s, rarely using e.g. f or even ff. In order to hear all the ppp and pppp’s, I have the volume of my speakers set accordingly.
Whenever I click/select the note in a part, it’s always played at “standard” volume - mp or something like that.
This means that the playback of that particular note is very loud, which I’d like if there was a way to avoid?
Thanks
Ok, I guess your solution works when not using noteperformer.
From the manual it says:
“By default, notes are played back with the prevailing dynamic, but you can set a
fixed volume instead.
(…)
Choose the volume that you want to use for notes during note input/selection.
● To use a fixed volume, activate Use fixed volume to play selected notes, then change the value in the value field.
● To use the prevailing dynamic, deactivate Use fixed volume to play selected notes.”
Unfortunately, (with noteperformer) notes are not played back with the prevailing dynamic (when deselecting), and using a fixed volume also plays back the note at a higher volume - no matter if I choose 1, 50 or 100.
I am sorry about it… Maybe untick the Solution, and someone else will be able to help you with this particular issue?
