The “Learn” functions (both bottom left of the main view, and “Actions and Shortcuts” “Learn” button) learn MIDI only.
To assign a keyboard shortcut, click in the “Shortcut” column and enter a key to assign.
At least with the upcoming version (presumably today), assigning “Pos 1” (or “Home”) to RTZ works fine here.
There are multiple issues here.
a) Pieffe: if data1 from and data1 to are set to the same value, the action will only react to that very same value. Set Data2 from to 0 (zero) and it should work. Also let us remind you that some actions (not this one, though) should be assigned a “toggle” type - if they toggle a value.
b) Quick Controls for Layer instruments we currently investigate, those appear to be broken, will report back.
c) don’t know what we fixed, but everything else works here with the upcoming version (today we hope), so pls. try again then.

We also found the issue with Quick Controls Actions, so pls check everything with todays’ version coming soon.

Thanks Musicullum, I’ve checked the Enableinsert function on .2.0.27 and can confirm it works now. However when using the learn function below left it creates Inert1Enable functions… and those don’t work. Guess is a mistake?
The Learn Function also stores Data2. You should change Data2From to 0. Then it should work.
Maybe the Learn Function should ignore Velocity for NoteOn Events. I don’t think that someone will use Velocity to trigger Actions, and the few ones could set them manually.
As I see in the mixer in the backround, there is no channel selected.
Yes but even after selecting the channel it does not work… somehow… the editinsert function (e) works fine with learn… no data 2 hold
Regarding to quick control I have managed to assign them too. However the QC seem to hold the values forever… don’t show any changes when choosing a different preset… check video
Works fine here. But we made some changes, so maybe that’s because we fixed it…so pls try again with the next version.
