I found an Issue while building up a new project in 2.0.30 using my saved songs. In 2.0.30 you can enable/disable “Auto-Scroll” but it does not work right. The Playhead (Cursor) scrolls to the end of the window and then jumps back again to the left side and then scrolls the howl way to the right .
I than tested this with an old project build in an earlier version of VST that and with the old “project file” that I loaded into 2.0.30 and with this “old” file the “Auto-Scroll” works perfect. But not with a new in 2.0.30 created project where I loaded my previous saved songs in. Strange!
… I am not sure if I can understand you description. But I’ve started a new project with 2.0.30, saved and reloaded it. Then I started the Transport and disabled the “Auto-Scroll” control. It works. I enabled it back and it still works.
Maybe you can create a video of the behaviour to show a better understanding of your problem?
First: I use only already saved songs (Song - Save Song) to populate my new project!
Create a new project in 2.0.30
load song 1
load song 2
load song 3 - and so on
In the VSt Setlists Window I create a new Setliste and put the songs in it
active the new setlist
Click on the “Auto-Scroll” Butto to enable that the Playhead stops in the middle of the window
press play to start the Song
The playhead scrolls to the end of the project zone and then everything jumps to the left and the playhead scrolls again over the entire window from left to right.
Video: Shows the playback like the description above:
When I open an OLD project that created in an earlier version than 2.0.30 the playhead stops as expected in the middle of the window and then the songs scrolls from right to left.
Video: Shows the playback of an old project file in 2.0.30 - everything works fine
Hi, yes I know this is the VST Live Forum and not Cubase but I personally find the Cubase way to handle this settings very charming and intuitive
