In 2.1. Parts aren’t switching automatically from one to the next. The cursor moves further, but the part stays on the last one. If I manually move the cursor along the timeline or click into the timeline somewhere, then the correct part is selected. It just doesn’t happen during playback (where I absolutely need it to happen on it’s own…).
Preloading parts again, restarting VSTL and computer doesn’t solve it.
I’m using a Macbook Pro, Sonoma 14.5.

… can you please uninstall your 2.1 version and install version 2.0.29? Is it better with that version?
How to uninstall it on a Mac? Locate you “VST Live 2” in your “Applications” folder and delete it. Then run the 2.0.29 installer. You can find the installer here.

I noticed some events are ‘delayed’.
Starting new drum patterns the first 2 events are ‘eaten’, the Track replay does not stop at the end of the track, there are 2 ‘notes’ more after track is over and the next track starts when using ‘LOOP EXIT’ method
I stored one project (2.1.0) on fast M.2 SSD - looks it works better than on NAS via GBit Ethernet, still not fully ok, but better ( only 1 event missing at start).
Not sure it is the same thing.
Was the same at 2.0.x
Also with 2.0.29?
There is a bug in 2.1 (and 2.0.30), will be fixed with the next version. 2.0.29 does not have that problem.
Yes, I was using 2.0.29 before and it works fine there. Have now reinstalled it!
yes, the ‘incorrect looping’ was found with 2.0.27 and later.
(But as I read somewhere in the forum there was a similar issue and did not comment it so far.)
Now, it continues to appear…
Project attached, referring to the ‘Peter Gun’ section. (when you start Peter Gunn Intro the Peter Gunn 1 misses the first event also the last event of ‘Bass’ part does not always recieve the ‘Note off’ event when exiting loop. with ‘loop exit’. Shortening the length of the last mdi event does not help.(sometimes I think is ‘requantifies’ back to .100)
The same loops were running in Cubase Arranger tracks without issues.
Same with P.G. 2 - ‘note hanging’ when ending loop with ‘loop exit’
Part was not copied, was added new. with a copied part from Cubase (drag&drop) I had issue with ghost notes - but the ghost note issue was reported somewhere else.and looks solved.
(the reason for the ‘empty’ parts is to manage the effect. I need it only for rehearsal, so not sooo important to me)
PC is fast, 64G memory speed optimized Intel 14700 / 1700 chip ser, Aorus motherboard. (needed for Hauptwerk Organs)
