In version 2.1.0 the display of the lyrics worked fine in the LiveMods App but since 2.1.2 no lyrics are displayed and the only change we made was the installation of the new VL Preview-Version.
Excuse me but:
I don’t understand why this function can fail so often. I remember it was stable working in a lot of previews and then messed up again.
Again - I am a great fan and supporter of VL but working with lyrics in VL is not that fun and if you configure the lyrics for 50+ songs and can´t use them then you better stay away from this function!

please also check the new chord-display function. In the LiveMods App we don’t see anything using VL 2.1.2 and we tested really hard to find out if there is a workaround to see them, but we had no luck!
Only the VL App itself shows the Chords also in the Lyric-View.
We made some changes and improvements to the Mods, but it takes a while to get it through Apple approval.
The next VST Live version will show some improvements already (e.g. missing images with Notes).
Not yet. But we don’t want to wait, so this is postponed for the next iOS version, which will also include check for FlexLoop operation, and some performance improvements.
Every single line in code that’s helps/forces client auto-reconnect-immediately (after in case of drop, sign lost, put app is background) would worth a lot
We tested VST 2.1.16 and the Live Mods 1.1.64 manly with the lyrics display and it worked like charm! It was always in time and had no connection problems!
To prevent further questions - we only tested connectivity and Lyrics display!
We did a re-test in our rehearsal yesterday using VL 1.1.18 and Live Mods 1.1.65 and unfortunately this is again - not working.
It worked for the first three songs as expected. Lyrics were shown and the timing was perfect. Then we activated another setlist in VL and lost the connection to the mobile app. We could not re-connect the tablet to VL with closing/reopening the app on the tablet. The only thing that worked was restarting VL on the laptop AND restarting the app on the tablet.
We also saw a “blue screen” in the mobile app while the app hangs completely.
We did no “debugging” test run to analyse every possible solution because it was very disappointing that after the last test, in which everything worked very well, we are no longer able to work with the current updates.
