VST Live was working, but since i opened the eLicenser Control Center and it failed in the syncing process, then VST Live is not working.
Since my C drive was running out of space, i had to buy a new drive and clone my exiting original C drive to the new one which has more storage, i think that could be reason the sync fail happening.
Please guide me on how to fix this issue.
When i directly try to open the .vlprj file, it gives me this error.
Cubase is still working, only VST Live is stopping after showing the splash screen.
Yes its not the problem with the VST Live, instead issue in eLicenser Control is causing the VST live to stop.
This is not affecting Cubase, am able to open cubase sessions, so I assume it should not affect opening a VST Live project too.
I cloned my original C drive to a new storage which has more storage space and am now using that new storage on my PC, i think the eLicenser is causing some problem with this storage upgrade.
The clone was done so i can get all my installation on my C drive intact without going thought the daunting task of installing everything from beginning.
Hm, I think VST and Cubase are different Teams at Steinberg, so this kind of problem don´t has to appear on all other Steinberg Software. (Just a thought).
Needs the new licenser. VSTL live havent ever used the “old” usb licenser but the new one from the beginning. Then need to deactivate your old drive and activate lic on new (online)
Setting up the old drive and doing this is a tedious task, can not Steinberg deactivate it from their servers?
Can you give me the link on how to do these?
I reinstalled VST Live also and now VST Live is opening. But some 3rd party plugins too got messed up with the hardware change, working on it to get it fixed.
