In the new version I have just added an “opener” to our project (first song/intro tune) as I never set up a song on the first beat here, I left the first bar blank so that the sample used only starts at 2.1.
If I now start the song from the very beginning (0001.1.1), you can hear a clear noise on the second beat (0001.2.1)!
The noise (a dull crack) does not occur in the existing songs.
We cannot reproduce this.
We probably need more details. A lot of things may be different in your case than in ours.
If it occurs with just one audio track, send us your project file (.vlprj), probably no need for any media files (audio, midi etc).
Is Metronome active? What device, buffer size, multiprocessing…tried all sorts of variants of those, but no sound before the audio track chimes in.
What do you mean by that? You have some Songs, then add another (“opener”) with just one audio file and that is the first Song? Does it also do that when you first play another Song, only after loading…tried all of that, any hints welcome.
Today I did exactly the same creating a new Song (opener) at the same position and the “problem” did not occur. Even the Song from yesterday makes no noise today. Thats weird, because I did yesterday several reboots of the entire System - even the Interface was powerless.
I did not make changes at the local system. yesterday or today.
The only thing that changed yesterday was the installation of the new VST Version.
