I’ve two parts, the first part is recorded with the intro, the second part is empty. I’ve set the playhead to the beginning of part two, part one is automatically selected (I don’t know why). Then I press the record button, the pre count starts, the playhead is set to the beginning (1.1.1), not where I expect it (beginning of part two).
btw. … the mouseover for the record button shows me Num* to record but it’s not working.

… maybe it’s because of your “Start Record at left Locator” setting? Is it enabled? And your Left Locator is at 1.1.1?
Have you checked the Action “Record”? Is it different? But I see the Tooltip should display the assigned Action.

it’s disabled. Before I open this thread, that’s my first idea.
At now it’s assigned to “R” on my iPad (Hexler touchOSC) when activate the row and click learn it’s not possible to assign a new shortcut.
Its broken on 2.1.36. back to .33 working me correctly or you can wait next update as Musicullum informed us

What exactly do you mean by “connot assign” - what happens or does not happen? Did you check UI type and data ranges? Testing with 2.2.
