2.1.7 - output send crashes with huge noise when editing

I’ve been replacing my cues from individual audio snippets ‘1’.‘2’ etc to one long track with all cues because they kept dropping out.
While I’ve been adding a new audio track, sending it to my ‘cue’ track, and removing the old one occasionally the cue track emits an enormous noise to the cue track that blows over my speakers. This ]has happened 3 times over maybe 60 instances of going through this procedure.

Should be fixed with 2.1.10 (official version)

You mean cue “Channel”, right? You cannot send a track to a track. So no idea what “removing the old one” means then, pls clarify.

Sorry badly explained. Ive linked the video hopefully you will see. I’m basically uploading a new audio file to a new track (this may be completely irrelevant). Ive since discovered its when I delete the old track (via the minus sign at the top of the window to ‘remove track’ (31s in video) the noise happens - I’ve captured it at the end of the video. Not every time, but occasionally. Sod’s law: when I was screen recording it didn’t happen, but a few tracks later it did.

It’s in your video…that would happen if the track channel does not get removed because of whatever resaons. But neither can we find that in our code, nor reproduce it.
Try with 2.1.17, still the same? Will keep observing and testing delete tracks, any hint welcome.

Yeah ok, Ive now completed all the swaps and am using 2.1.10 so not had the issue since. Ill let you know if it happens again!
