[2.2.110/3.0.31] Bug with Position in Midi List Editor

Hi team,

starting with version 2.2.105/3.0.25, changing the position of a MIDI event other than a note within the MIDI List Editor has become virtually impossible.

Any value used for a new position applied to a non-note event in the MIDI List Editor results in the event defaulting to a position of 0001.1.1.

The bug is highlighted in an extremely simple way:

1] A MIDI event other than a note is created at a position other than 0001.1.1 within a MIDI track
2] With the MIDI track selected, open the MIDI List Editor
3] Click on the position of the created event and change the current value to any value other than 0001.1.1
4] The new value for the event position in the MIDI List Editor will always be 0001.1.1

Looking forward to your feedback.

Thanks in advance.

@ArthurNeeman: By starting with version 2.2.105/3.0.25, I actually meant that the bug was found in all versions:

  • 2.2.105 / 3.0.25
  • 2.2.110 / 3.0.30
  • 3.0.31

I changed the post title to avoid any misunderstandings, thank you for your confirmation and observation.

@Spork: Thanks for your prompt response, I’ll let you know the results of the test on the new version.

Hi @Spork,
