There are issues with volume automation in songs. If multiple songs are loaded into a playlist, the automation may not work correctly. The input and output parameters on the automation track are being replaced. Instead of the correct parameters, others from different songs in the playlist are being substituted. After saving and reloading the project, the required parameters are reset to incorrect ones. I noticed that if there is only one song in the playlist, the problem doesn’t occur—but this might be a coincidence.

can you please install the latest Pre-Release (2.2.21). You can download it here. Is the problem still reproducible? If yes, could you please create a simple project which shows the problem? Then use the “Menu / File / Save archive” function, select an empty folder, zip it and drop it here. Then we are able to analyse the problem.

It’s very inconvenient to reassign automation tracks before every show.
In my case, a feature to adjust the volume of an individual clip on a track, like it’s done in Cubase, would help a lot.
Are you considering adding such a tool in the near future?

… there is already an editing field for Volume.
..and there should be an editing control for every audio clip. It’s missing, we’ll check.

no it’s not, but if inspector is exetended, the “Volume” field can slip out from the viewfield (helped out a few people with already)
