[2.2.19] Issue changing parts when layer has program change & issue MIDI volume NOT SET

With 2.2.19 I experienced an issue when changing parts which was not an issue in 2.2.18:

  1. Changed from one part to another with a layer that has a program change on my Montage M
  2. Sound breaks when the part is triggered
:information_source: I have a Yamaha Montage M connected which can have up to 8 parts to stay in Seemless Sound Switching (sound will not break when switching to another). But even if the performance (program) in Montage has only 1 part the problem occurs.
The sound must not break when the performance on Montage is changed.

Also I recognized the following which wasn’t an issue with 2.2.18:

  • When an external keyboard (in my case a Nord Lead A1) is connected and it is routed to the Montage via a layer
  • if that part will be triggered => the volume in the part slot on the Montage will be changed to 0.
:information_source: In the layer in VST Live the MIDI volume is set to NOT SET. So the volume should not change.

Please fix it, as I can’t use that version. I have rolled back to 2.2.18.

Additional information: I‘m using macOS Sequoia

Try Preferences/MIDI/Reset Controllers

Unfortunately you are correct, will fix.

Hi, @musicullum
checked with 2.2.20.
yes, activating “Reset Controllers” in Preferences helped! Thanks a lot.

I don’t understand this feature. I expected that it just resets the changed controllers. I didn’t think that this could help in this case. Anyway, nice that it works now!

The other thing regarding NOT SET at volume is fixed with 2.2.20. Works fine.

Thank you! Again, fixed super fast :+1: :+1:
