Are you an windows or mac ? do you have a processor with e-cores ? It’s better to disable e-cores if you run live audio, e-cores are slower and crackle easily.

I’m on win 11 with intel i7 10870H (8 high speed cores, 16 threads), 32GB DDR4 and 2.2.44 runs smoothly with Audio CPU meter rock steady on 30-40% at 128 sample buffer with a very very heavy project.

Cheers, Ciro.

Hi
I’m using windows 10 with a I7 laptop it’s the same setup and project that when I’ve undated the software to a later version I see serious cpu spikes and distortion on the vst instruments I then roll back to 2.33 and it’s ok with the odd spike that I can deal with.
No audio I just use it for vst instruments at the mo playing in a duo with separate b/tracks I’m hoping in the future to have everything running on vst live but don’t have the confidence and hence why I just use it piano/synth sounds at the mo

hi @karl2

Developers are releasing frequent updates. I’m sure they’re doing their best to fix all such problems. Hold the line and keep your eyes on the next pre-release (probably tonight).

Pls try again with the next pre-release. If you still find problems, keep reporting, thanks.
