[2.2.83] Loss of Send Assignment in Mixer Channels

Hi team,

I created a small project that partially mirrors the routing of a real project of mine, but it still demonstrates a bug in the send assignments for the mixer channels.

To reproduce the bug, present since version 2.2.83, follow these steps:

  1. Open the project

  1. Assign the sends as shown in the screenshot below

  1. Save the project and reload it: the project will display the send assignments as shown in the screenshot

  1. Note that the send assignments for the last output channel, OUT 4, have disappeared from all group channels

Not in my place. Loads just fine as displayed in your first pic. Is out4 assigned to a hardware port in Devices/Connections?

Hi @musicullum,

indeed, when I tried creating a new project with version 2.2.83 (but I also tried with 2.2.85 with the same result), the issue, as you stated, doesn’t occur.

I think I understand that the issue occurs when (as happened with my test project) the routing, and specifically the sending in the mixer, was created with a previous VST Live 2 version, in my case, version 2.2.80.

Perhaps (but this is purely hypothetical) the issue I describe in this post is somehow related to what was reported in the post:

Just opened the project you sent (thanks for that).

We are on the case and a fix will be provided soon.

Just had confirmation from @Spork that the issue should be fixed in the next pre release. :slightly_smiling_face::+1:

I can confirm that, with version 2.2.87, the issue appears to be definitively resolved.
