Hi Jazztom, yeah, just thought there might be a way that I was missing somehow,

I don’t Know exactly what You want to achieve. If You need just two bars of “preroll” you can set your marker from which you start two bars before your first real bar. In this case you don’t need a metronome anymore. If this is what You want just go to Project Setup and set “Display Bar Offset” to 2.

Thanks for that suggestion jazztom, gotta tell you…I’m not too bright when it comes to using Cubase, I can’t see the wood for the trees most of the time.
