I have Cubase 6 ordered. Not afaid in the least being a Cubase user since the Atari days. BTW, I’m on a Mac-Snow Leopard.
How easy is it to go back to 5 if not happy? I mean, will I have to get my Cubase 5 DVD and reinstall?
Will the audio tracks recorded using the “lanes” translate accurately when using Cubase 6?

Me too!

Well, you won’t lose V5 at all. Cubase V6 Installs along side V5 like another app … has it’s own Prefs and everything. Just Install 6 … run it when you want… close it and run V5 if you want. I’ve never run them together though!!! LOL

I would imagine so … though I’ve never tried it. However if not, just finish off older projects in V5 … and start new ones in V6. It’s the safest way to go…
Hope this helps

Cubase 6 installs alongside Cubase 5, it doesn’t overwrite it, you can have both.
