2 versions of Cubase?

I’m completely new to Cubase so apologies if this has been ask (my search fu is weak 8( )

I did the grace period upgrade from 6.5 to 7…now it looks as though I have 2 versions of cubase installed. Is this the way it supposed to be? Is there a particular reason why I should/shouldn’t have both installed?

Yes thats normal ;9

depends on your needs. If your used to 6 and still need six because of compatibility to some plugs you can use both
If you don^t need six any longe you can uninstall it.
