2016 using Cubase LE 1.0.11 on Mac OS X Yosemite?

I was considering getting back into recording after a long hiatus. And I just found the disc for a copy of Cubase LE 1.0.10 OEM that came with a Zoom H4 recorder I bought way back in maybe 2007 or so.

I just tried installing from the CD on Macbook 13" retina (late 2013) OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. But the installation fails.

Is there any way I could get Cubase LE going ?
Or update it to something that will work on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5? The authorization number is on the CD envelope.

Doesn’t work.

I had tried to register a MySteinberg Account but the Authorisation No. that is on the CD slip doesn’t work. The MySteinberg account expects a 25 digit number but the Authorisation No. is only about 10 digits.
