What is the best sounding way to convert movie from 24 to 25 fps nowadays. It just can not be the dolby hardware box from 2000s anymore?

Do you think MPEX conserves phase accuracy of LtRt?
Lets say i have 5.1 master that sounds nice in matrix dolby stereo, will the MPEX conversion maintain that?
If you convert multichannel files, it will be OK.
If you try to convert individual mono files, it will sound horrible. (With any conversion method that is)
