25 non-consecutive hours!

Hi there,

just purchased Cubase pro 8, what does it mean “the USB-eLicenser in the box contains a license to operate the software for a total of 25 non-consecutive hours”? apologies if this subject has been covered, I had a look around and couldn’t see it!

A USB-eLicenser like this one should come with your full product purchase.

The 25 hour license is on the USB dongle initially. When you go through the License Activation process, a PERMANENT license will be downloaded onto the eLicenser. The purpose of the 25 hour license is to allow you to use Cubase immediately if you can’t activate the permanent license right away (for example, if the Steinberg server is undergoing maintenance or you local internet service is temporarily out.)
