[3.0.1] DMX faders on old songs is at zero by default

… I was going crazy on why artnet was not outputting anything.

all dmx track have faders at zero by default. Now track fader works as general dimmer (moving heads and strobos/gobos going crazy by the way, should be flaggable to be excluded from intensity general dimmer) and so all old songs old projects was not emitting any dmx, now proceeding to put fader at max value for 80 songs and 5 track per song :sweat_smile: :grimacing:

NB: dmx fader scale in mixer view is from -100 to +100 , what it means? to be unaltered i sould put all to 0 not +100 right?

Also, in mixer view, trying to write “0” in fader value does not change the fader position (and dmx channel symbol missing)

… oh! Let me check,
Michael

@Spork if you’re there.

Could you set these DMX dimmers to
0.0 multiplyer as default?

With other terms - similar to audio faders -
0.0dB is the default, but we can push to +6dB and also decrease to -value (near -inf).

But as default, the DMX dimmers (faders) should look similar to audio-faders 0.0dB position

Also please add the fader view in DMX tracks inspector so i don’t need to go to mixer tab to set faders with precision, expecially with collapsed track height.

Would like to chime in here. The DMX Channel Fader seems to have some funky effect on channels with multiple capabilities. The strobe channel of my LED Bars has different effects (linear, ramp up, ramp down, random) on different values of the channel. The scaling seems to throw off these values, and I have not been able to set it to a “unity” value so that I can apply the correct effects.
