[3.0.1] Monitor mixer view - improvements and BUGS

Hi,

  • missing remove channel
  • not every output is a iem out, need a filter to remove unwanted outputs from the list
  • Each channel should have (like the sends in main view—) pre/post fader indication (maybe where the “E” edit was, and now is free space)

Cheers, Ciro.

also, possibility to reorder out channels

also BUG - clicking on the vicinity of the monitor button to add a channel (exactly on monitor word instead of icon) … add output channels to the monitored channels (out send to out not possible!!?!?! Also out channels should not be on possible monitored channel list qhen you press the button.

We’ll check. Thank you for the report,
Michael.

… fixed and pushed to the upcoming 3.0.2 Pre-Release,
Michael.

Hi @Spork , tested 3.0.2

  • monitor button and OUT channel, bug solved!
  • I noticed that double clicking on faders set them to -inf, should set them to zero like double clicking on send in main mixer
  • Also manually typing a value for the fader in the text box does not change the fader.
  • is the pan slider working ?! Can you pan differently from the source channel?! Seems odd to have it (also on new dmx channels, what means the pan slider !?!)

Apart from the solved bug, all the other consideration from the first post still remains.

Cheers, Ciro.

it’s a GUI feature, no technical difference between doing the same with your SEND-sliders in channel view.

Yes but sends in main mixer don’t have pan, simply reflect the main channel pan, that’s the point.

While we are at it, the selected OUT channel strip should be visible in monitor tab (locked far left or far right in view), acting as a master fader for the monitor!

that would be welcome for me too, but untill… I can adjust my monitor ‘MASTER’ on my IEM receiver

yup, but i have inserts on iem out like limiters or eqs that would be good to have in th esame view, like this:

or maybe even better like this, with the out selector button acting as a menu:
