there is a long‑standing bug where the active lyrics are sometimes not highlighted correctly. The highlight colour appears with a delay, and the issue occurs inconsistently — it doesn’t happen every time.

Did you move the Lyrics clip in project window? That bug was earlier, but I didn’t have it with the latest versions.
I don´t think that I have moved the lyrics clip in the project window but the Bug is there even in [3.0.41].
