3 Drumset Stacking - Trick

Hi: I’ve always known about “SOUND STACKING DRUMS” but a friend of mine told
me of a trick called DRUMSET STACKING. Thought I’d give it a try.

The Drumsets are

  1. Groove Agent One
  2. Superior Drummer
  3. Halion Sonic big 80’s kit

no eq–compression or indivdual channels yet
the groove was created on one set then copied to the other 2 sets

Ps: I mute the individual sets occasionally

Nice, the result is really dense. You do get some inevitable HF phasing though, most apparent at the far end of the snare trail.

Thanks Strophoid: Yea phasing crossed my mind to.
Cymble phasing might be a problem with multiple drumsets
The three or more sets together kind of creates its own Drum set sound
with little effort eq-compression etc.
