3 separate repeat endings

How can I place a bracketed 3, i.e. 3rd-ending sign, to appear after the backward repeat (i.e. :||) of my second ending, without any additional backward repeats or other endings?

Right now I have two properly annotated endings, 1 and 2, each ending with :||. I want a third ending that has no :|| because it just goes straight through to the end of the piece, i.e. ||.

In Finale, I could just double click the measure, double-click the ending icon, type “3” for Ending Number, and uncheck “create backward repeat bar”. Can I do anything like that in Dorico?

Hi @JeffAtMelodic.com, just select the bracket and set Nr. of endings to 3, in the Properties panel:

You can also add additional endings to a selected range of bars using the panel or repeats popover. That also creates the necessary repeat barline for you.

Thank you @Lillie_Harris, you let me just now discover this functionality!

@JeffAtMelodic.com, here the workflow as described in the Manual:

Thank you, @Lillie_Harris and @Christian_R. That works!
