How do you install 3rd party templates into Cubase 14?

Cubase templates are simply project files that reside in a certain folder on the hard drive.
You can find the folder easily by going into MediaBay → File Browser → User Content → Project Templates
Right click it and select to show it in the Explorer/Finder.

are you referring to project templates or 3rd party plugin presets?
The latter usually have their own destination for preset folders which are independent from Cubase. These presets come with potential info (e.g. internal rating system) that can’t be stored in a preset that is stored by Cubase’s preset management on the top of a plugin window.
If you are referring to presets - which plugins are you talking about?
I downloaded a template that’s supposed to work with Cubase from a 3rd party proprietor. It isn’t a Cubase own template. I have no idea how to install it. If you can advise that would be great.

Put the .cpr file into the template folder.
Please see my previous reply in order to locate that folder.
