I don’t know if this is a bug or if I’m doing something wrong:
I’ve created a lead sheet in 4/4 time but my final measure of the song only shows 3 beats to the bar. When I try to add another quarter rest it just adds a new bar and messes everything up.
Do you have a pick-up measure? What happens if you remove the repeat sign - does that change anything?
Hmm, that was weird - I deleted the repeat sign and got two quarter rests, I put the repeat sign back in and they were both still there. I deleted both quarter rests and finally got a half rest. Fixed! (btw, no pick-up measure)
Out of curiosity, did you place the repeat bar by first selecting a barline, or by simply clicking in a repeat barline in a measure? If the latter, perhaps you clicked after beat 3 of the measure.
That’s quite plausible. I don’t remember exactly as it was two days ago and it’s just my first time exploring this software. Only noticed the 3/4 error this morning.
