Subject: Feature Request: Add a quick 432Hz / Custom Frequency option directly in the Export Settings!

Hey Cubase Team,

I know it’s already technically possible to tune music to 432Hz or other frequencies in Cubase, but it should be a basic, built-in option right in the Audio Export window. Artists should have full freedom to convert the export file to whatever Hz they want—fast and easy, just one button or dropdown away.

Why this needs to happen:

Listener Comfort & Accessibility: A lot of people are built differently. I know many listeners who deal with migraines, headaches, and sound sensitivities. For those listeners, different frequencies are way more pleasant to hear.

Artist Freedom: It should be normalized for every artist to choose their output frequency without having to go the full nerdy, technical, complicated route. It shouldn’t require a 4-hour YouTube tutorial just to figure it out! I don’t care what the technical nerds say about how “easy” it is—it should just be a native basic feature.

Listener Experience: This isn’t about opinion, “hippie stuff,” or scientific debates—it’s about artist choice and the listener’s experience. The new generation of creators and listeners is going to love this, and it’s going to become a standard feature in every DAW eventually anyway.

I know making pleasant music isn’t only about Solfeggio frequencies or tuning, but it plays a big part. Cubase should be the first DAW to lead the way and just add this feature now!

That is not how tuning works.

You are basically asking for the export option to time stretch/pitch shift your final mixdown. If you want to sound like you’re out of tune against every other musician’s pitched instrument in the world, then tune your instruments to 432hz before you record them.

You can pretty much do that “tuning” already by yourself. Attach a frequency shifter to your master bus and set it to shift down by 8 Hz. There’s your “432 HZ tuning” right there.

A real feature request related to this is to have the concert pitch itself be user configurable. For that there is a real-world use for musicians and audio professionals, such as recordists who work with baroque ensembles, or orchestras that use A=442 (or worse! :wink: ) and would satisfy those working in this current fad as well.
