From the 6.2.20 Version History PDF:
“Play mode → Choosing VST plug-ins. The hierarchical menu used to choose VST plug-ins in the VST and MIDI panel in Play mode, and in the Mixer, now has a text filter field, allowing you to type the name (or part of the name) of the VST plug-in you want to load, making it quicker to find and add.”
