6.20 Paragraph Styles: Border+Background issue

Hi and thanks to the team for this new update with many great improvements!

I Just noticed an issue.

For a long time (since Dorico 5) I’ve had two custom Paragraph Styles that I use for comments in my scores. In large orchestral scores especially, I find it more convenient than the Comments feature for short important remarks.

They combine a frame and a translucent coloured background (two PS for two different colors)

Just screenshoted from Dorico 5 where it still works:

They no longer seem to work properly in D6.20.

First, the frame and background no longer appear in the preview, unlike before

Then, when I start typing the text, I can see the background

but once I’m done, only the frame remains.

And that’s now how they appear in my existing projects as well.

It seems that the border prevents the background from being applied, and vice versa.

Yup, same here.

But if you tick border in the properties panel it works when not using border in the style.

Ah, good find, thank you @jesele!

Well.
I think a Dorico 6.2.1 will be released soon, as this update seems to be causing quite a few bugs, judging by all the posts that have appeared today…

Nothing serious so far, from what I’ve read!

Never mind. It’s too late because I downloaded it this morning.

Je vais mettre ma combinaison de peintre pour essuyer les plâtres…

Thanks, Charles. I hadn’t realised there was a 6.2.10 update; I’d stopped at 6.2.

New from today, with very nice improvements!
