64 bit audio recording not working.

System:

Windows 10, 64. i7-6700k, 16GB ram. Marian AD2 Soundcard.

Cubase Pro 9.5 records audio correctly in 32 bit, but when 64 bit is selected audio inputs stop working. I can turn on direct monitoring and hear the audio come through the sound card but the audio doesn’t register in Cubase.

video:

Explanation for clarity…

The video shows me with Cubase in 32 bit mode and a Vermona drum machine playing sounds directly into my sound cards inputs.
When I click the audio input monitor icon you see the Cubase input meters levels change and the Vermona is audible through my monitors.

I then switch to 64 bit mode and restart Cubase. Everything is exactly the same, and once again I click Cubase audio monitor input icon but this time I hear some weird RF noise, and when I raise the monitor levels I hear a very low level distorted drum sounds.

Switching back to 32 bit mode brings the Vermona sound back correctly once more.

This is a fresh install of Windows 10 64 and Cubase Pro 9.5 done earlier today.

edit: Just tried this using my Virus Ti built in usb interface and it doesn’t act this way?

We are in touch with Marian to solve this. (CAN-12337)

and… it wasn’t solved with the .10 update.
