64 Bit vs. 32 Bit

Can anyone tell me ANY advantages of running Cubase 5 32 Bit in Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit?

The reason I ask is because I’m wanting to run Waves plugins without bridging them as I’ve had no success and tried everything. So is worth me even using the Windows 64 Bit? Or shall I just stick with 32 bit? Will I get any performance benefits within Cubase?

This may seem like a stupid question but I’m just trying to get my head around it and it just bugs me that if I use Win 7 32 Bit I’ll only have access to 4GB of RAM (or less).

Thanks!

Without bridging, you will only get 4G ram in CB32. With Jbridge, at least you will get full function of your waves plugs and be allotted 2G of ram per plug till you reach your installed ram. If you want access to all your ram without bridging, you will have to stay with CB64 and deal with the waves problems unless someone with the same setup has figured a viable work around.
