When I am editing in the sample window I cannot get any sound when I try to play the part or even use the speaker icon to check for the start & end of a note or word. I have nothing. If I open the project in 7, it works fine. When I first got Cubase & updated to 7.5 everything was working fine. From the project window, everything plays back just like it should, so it’s only happening in the audio edit window. No clue what is going on.

Open your VST-Connections (F4) and right click on your output bus and select “set as main mix”. Also, if you are not using the control room, turn it off.
