[8.5] Asio spikes when Video Window is open

Hi guys,

I think I have come across a strange issue in Cubase 8.5.

When I have the video window open (with video loaded) then I get random dropouts (Asio spikes) when I am playing the project. Here are the details:

-Cubase 8.5 64 bit, Windows 7 64bit, RME UFX, Asio Guard Activated

Same exact setup and same exact project does not introduce those spikes with Cubase 8.0.3, actually, up to now I had never experienced any spikes.

So the only thing that is changing is the Cubase version.
Has anyone else experienced any glitches when playing video with Cubase 8.5?
Is there any preference that I could check that gets reset with the update and I can change it back?
