808s in Halion 5

Hi

Does anyone have any experience with 808`s in halion 5?

I have bought a set with pitched and tuned 808´s and assigned them to each respective key .
But they still sound as if they are being transposed. Its like an overly boomy artifact that gets introduced, the sample alone sounds great, but not in halion 5.

Do I have to do something in the zone?

In the mapping tab, make sure that the ‘Root Key’ is the same as the actual key: i.e. the sample is to mapped to key C2 and root key is C2. If your sample is mapped to key C2 while root key is A1 it means the sample is tuned 9 semi tones down and so forth.
