8va End-point Precision

I can’t seem to get my 8va line to stop at my desired end point. I would like it to include up through the rolled blue chord in measure 149 so that it doesn’t include the red(ish) eighth notes that follow. I have dragged the end handle left (from the end of the measure) to almost where it needs to stop. See here.

When I drag the end handle left any further than it is now, it jumps to before the blue chord. See here.

Instead of dragging try option-arrow.

Select the first A and the ctrl-click the chord. Then Shift-C 8 alt-enter.
The 8ve line need to be local to the (blue) voice.

Thank you, but I need both voices to be considered 8va. As it turns out option-arrow was the simple solution.
