I am working on a piano score, with 2 voices in the bass clef.

Is it possible to have the 8vb function only affect voice 2?

Yes: when you enter “8ba” into the Shift+C popover, confirm the popover by typing Alt+Enter rather than Enter on its own, and the octave line will affect only the selected voice.

Is it possible to have the 8ba function just displaying the number as in this example (without any suffix or continuation line)?

I’ve tried changing the settings in Engraving Options but Octave Number only / Omit Bassa still displays bassa.

Try setting ‘Suffix for ottava bassa at start of new system if using octave number and suffix’ to ‘Exclude ‘ba’’.

I try the same thing 8ba for the voice 2 “Alt+ Enter “ on Dorico iPad. But it’s not working. It’s affect the whole bar with all notes. I use Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard with my iPad.

Is there a limitation on Dorico Mobile?

IIRC this feature has not been activated on the iPad version yet.
